"Big Fish: A New Musical" officially opened on Broadway on October 10, 2013. Michael J Moritz Jr serves as producer for this production that opened at the Neil Simon Theatre. The cast includes Bobby Steggert, Norbert Leo Butz, Kate Baldwin and Brad Oscar.

At the 2019 Outer Critics Circle Awards on May 13, 2019, the Broadway production of Hadestown, co-produced by Michael J. Moritz Jr., was presented with 6 awards including Outstanding New Broadway Musical, Outstanding New Score (Anaïs Mitchell), Outstanding Director of a Musical (Rachel Chavkin), Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical (Andre De Shields), Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical (Amber Gray), and Outstanding Lighting Design.
The winners will be honored at a May 23rd event at Sardi’s.
Hadestown is now running at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
The 2019 Tony Award nominations were announced on Tuesday, April 30th. Hadestown leads with 14 nominations, including Best Musical, Best Director of a Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score, and Best Leading Actress in A Musical.
