Broadway for Orlando - What The World Needs Now Is Love Charity Single
Produced by Michael J Moritz Jr and Michael Croiter, Broadway’s brightest stars united to support those in Orlando who were affected by the massacre in response to the recent tragic events in Orlando. All of the proceeds of the single, a recording of Burt Bacharach’s “What the World Needs Now Is Love,” will benefit the LGBT Center of Central Florida.

“What the World Needs Now is Love” was originally written by Burt Bacharach with original lyrics by Hal David. The benefit recording is executive produced by Rudetsky, Wesley and Dean and produced by Michael J Moritz Jr and Michael Croiter. It has music direction by Rudetsky, orchestrations by Rudetsky and Cameron Moncur, and vocal arrangements by Michael McElroy.
In early 2017, a group of bright stars in the Broadway community - including Charlie Rosen, Van Dean, Jonathan Estabrooks, and Michael J Moritz Jr - gathered the who's who of Broadway to record a benefit single for the recently under-fire National Endowment of the Arts.
