Michael is nominated for an Emmy!
Michael J. Moritz Jr. has been nominated for a 2017 Emmy Award for Audio for his work as Producer on the DVD release of "From Broadway with Love: A Benefit Concert for Orlando." He is joined in the nomination with long-time partners Billy LaGuardia and Brandon Loewit. The DVD, which was released on December 23rd, 2016, was a concert in Orlando, Florida to benefit the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting. The concert featured some of Broadway's biggest names, including Chita Rivera, Liz Callaway, Norbert Leo Butz, Kelli O'Hara, Jessie Mueller, Carmen Cusack, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and many more.

On April 16th, 2018, some of Broadway and Television’s biggest stars joined the students of Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School at the BB&T Center for a one-night-only concert benefitting MSD Victims’ Fund and Shine MSD. Michael J. Moritz Jr. music directed and conducted the performance.
